- Preparing and processing payments for bills
- Issuing customer invoices and managing cash receipts
- Maintaining the general ledger
- Preparing accurate and timely financial statements

Responsibilities
- Assist in depositing checks and processing cash receipts.
- Prepare monthly invoices for rate-based and cost-based contracts.
- Monthly revenue tracking and reporting.
- Manage and closely monitor the aging report for your invoices.
- Prepare budget modification for cost-based invoices.
- Research payment discrepancies.
- Booking revenue for various contracts.
- Reconcile General Ledger revenue accounts for your invoices.
- Prepare any needed journal entries
- Review contract invoice and payment terms.
- Assist in audit preparation and provide necessary documentation.
- Support Accounts Receivable Manager with the monthly A/R account reconciliations.
Required
- Education/experience requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting OR
- Associate’s degree in Accounting 1 year of applicable work experience OR
- High school diploma/GED 2 years of applicable work experience
- Applicable work experience includes relevant work experience in the accounting field.
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
- Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel
- Experience with Sage Intacct, Emburse Professional, and FloQast.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet internal and external deadlines.
- Able to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
- Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet AR deadlines.
- Full-time
- Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
- Hybrid
- Starting at $31.83 - $34.33 per hour.
- Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam
