Position Overview: The Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and assisting with financial reporting and compliance. Managing the accounting team (AP, AR, Payroll), ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial information and reports. Prepare, examine, and audit financial records. Ensure and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. The position requires the necessary skills to interact with other operations personnel, owners, and the management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions across multiple bank accounts.
- Monitor cash flow and manage funds to ensure liquidity and cover operational expenses.
- Conduct regular audits of financial accounts.
- Analyze transactions for correct coding and assignment of revenue and expenditures.
- Preparation and execution of reconciliations, amortizations, and accruals.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
- Provide financial forecasts and projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls that apply GAAP standards.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Recommend and prepare journal entries, reports, and account reconciliations.
- Communicate with owners, executives, managers, supervisors, and co-workers and always maintain confidentiality.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
