Job Title: RSVP Coordinator
Reports To: RSVP Director under the Director of Senior Services of Van Buren County
Location: South Haven and occasionally remote sites
Position Summary:
Senior Services of Van Buren County RSVP Coordinator is charged with the task of assisting the RSVP Volunteer Program that will help meet the growing needs of seniors and their desire to serve the community, including supervising specific Volunteer positions.
Major Functions/Responsibilities:
· Assist RSVP Director with volunteer recruitment
· Give regular orientations for new volunteers, assist with assessment and process placements. Conduct follow-up with new volunteers to be sure they are placed appropriately and both parties are satisfied.
· Oversee RSVP Program Assistant to insure that accurate records are maintained for volunteers including enrollment forms, time sheets, mileage records and orientations.
· Oversee annual surveys of volunteers.
· Help partner agencies with placement of volunteer requests
· Coordinate our medical transportation program
· Attend advisory meetings (occasionally head the meeting)
· Assist in development of brochures, flyers and other marketing
· Assist with other requests as determined by RSVP Director
Type of Position: Part-time: 20-28 hours per week
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 28 per week
Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
