Position Overview:
The Care Coordinator will play a dual role in caregiver recruiting and client acquisition. This position is key to ensuring our organization attracts compassionate caregivers while building relationships with potential clients to expand our impact. The ideal candidate is a proactive, people-focused individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of seniors.
Key Responsibilities
Caregiver Recruitment:
- Source and recruit compassionate non-medical caregivers.
- Actively manage job postings and respond to applicants promptly.
- Host Open House hiring events and attend off-site job fairs to attract top talent.
- Build and maintain relationships with local partners to expand recruitment pipelines.
- Oversee the applicant tracking process using the designated CRM system.
Client Recruitment:
- Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients and their families to understand their care needs.
- Network with community organizations, healthcare providers, and referral partners to generate leads.
- Educate prospective clients about Seniors Helping Seniors® services and create personalized care plans.
- Conduct initial in-home consultations with clients to assess needs and match them with the right caregiver.
- NOTE: You must have your own car and a valid CA driver's license, and submit a background check.
Administrative Support:
- Collaborate with the office team to ensure smooth caregiver-client matches and positive experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of caregiver and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Monitor caregiver performance and client satisfaction, providing feedback and solutions as needed.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in healthcare, recruiting, human resources, or a related field.
- Previous experience in client acquisition or sales is a plus.
People Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with caregivers and clients.
- Exceptional communication skills with a talent for building trust and rapport.
Flexibility:
- Willing to travel locally (up to 50%) for recruitment events and client meetings. You must have your own car and a valid CA driver's license.
Tech-Savvy:
- Proficient in using smartphones, tablets, laptops, and CRM systems.
