Jr Maintenance Technician

Pay rate: $24/hr

Hours 8am – 4:30pm

Jr Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, preventative maintenance, and building maintenance within the site facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include all aspects related to mechanical operations. Support prompt repair, preventative maintenance schedules, housekeeping and organizational standards.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic controls.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gages, and test equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed.
• Assists maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
• Support operations in OEE and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized work area and assist with other facility.
• Participate in training to continue developing skills.
• Ensure all safety devices are properly in place and utilized and verify individual usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) by the work team.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures
• Maintain and repair of building, grounds, and equipment
• Ensure that all required preventative maintenance activity is completed. Maintain accurate records of scheduled and completed work.
• Operate a workstation as needed.
• Assist maintenance staff as required.

Educational Requirement:

• High school diploma or GED

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2 years of experience with industrial maintenance
• Basic knowledge of tools
