Job Description | Project Manager – Asbestos Abatement / Lead Remediation Sequence has been exclusively retained and is currently seeking a capable Environmental Project / Branch Manager in Raleigh for North Carolina's most exciting and vibrant asbestos abatement and remediation organizations. A 50 year professional services and contracting corporation, the organization offers a full range of asbestos abatements, mold/microbial remediation, and lead abatement services. With branch and satellite operations in multiple states, the company is backed/funded with extensive equity and in the process of expanding its footprint in the Southeast. That effort has now led it to planting its standard with establishment of a new branch office here in North Carolina. This is currently the most high-profile position of its type in the Southeast United States. The company has specifically tasked us with finding a dynamic Project Manager who could service as branch leader in establishing a more formal presence in the region. They have had success in building presence by finding a key individual in the region that they can then assemble operations around and expand efforts. The role includes responsibility of building relationships with clients (Consultants, Contractors, Facilities representative) in a manner to create bidding opportunities and execute work. In addition to operational aspects, the right candidate would be able to work independently and have a demonstrated passion for and thorough understanding of abatement and remedial activities. Also, proven sales/marketing, estimating and project management skillset. Key duties include:
The ideal individual would have 5-15 years of industry experience and strong proactive problem resolution skills as well as excellent time management, organization and multi-tasking abilities. Key is the ability to conduce oneself in a manner that promotes a professional atmosphere and ensures interactions with both internal and external customers. So ideally, this would be an individual with both the interpersonal skills and the personality necessary to interact with a diverse group of professionals and stakeholders.
