What are the responsibilities and job description for the Curriculum & Instruction Coordinator - Internal only - 25/26 school year position at Sequoia Grove Charter Alliance?
The Curriculum & Instruction Coordinator will equip and empower teachers with the knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to support their TK-12th grade students’ personalized learning plans. Members of the Curriculum & Instruction Team are responsible for various projects that may be assigned individually or involve collaborative efforts. These include providing professional development training, resources, and support in the areas of curriculum selection and implementation, standards alignment, supplementary materials, and progress monitoring. The team also supports the onboarding and implementation of school-licensed virtual subscription offerings.
A primary responsibility of this particular position will be to launch a new Synchronous Instruction initiative for TK-4th grade students. The Coordinator will be responsible for leading a team of Homeschool Teachers (HSTs) to facilitate these sessions. The Coordinator will guide this team to ensure the program launches smoothly and meets the needs of students and families.
This position will work closely with other Curriculum & Instruction Coordinators under the direction of the Director of School Support. Valid California Teaching Credential with EL authorization
