Overview:
Serious Injury Law Group is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Birmingham office. This position entails providing comprehensive administrative and organizational support to our Managing Partner group. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in legal administrative work, demonstrating exceptional skills in managing executive schedules, legal documentation, and client communications.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain C-suite schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Assist in preparing and organizing legal documents, including contracts, briefs, motions, and correspondence.
- Handle confidential documents and information with discretion and integrity.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the Managing Partner group.
- Organize and coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails, and interfacing with clients.
- Prepare and edit communications, presentations, and other documents.
- File and retrieve documents and reference materials.
- Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents.
- Manage and maintain office supplies and equipment; coordinate office maintenance and repair tasks.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, conferences, and committees; take minutes and follow up on action items.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar role within a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of office procedures and legal document formats.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with legal case management software.
- Discretion and confidentiality are paramount.
Education:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant work experience in a legal environment can substitute for educational requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
