We have an Administrative Assistant - Receptionist opening in our Rapid City location.

Job Summary : Greet, assist, and provide information to clients, visitors, and other guests as well as answer phones, assist our Service Team, and perform customer related data entry.

Job requirements :

  • Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each persons visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
  • Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
  • Assists Service Department team with customer service and product reports.
  • Performs data entry for setting up and processing customer requests.
  • Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
  • Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
  • Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job responsibilities and essential job functions :

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access all areas of the facility including plant and service management offices.
  • Skills and Experience :

  • Experience with answering phones, customer service, and / or administrative support helpful.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Self-motivated, open to learning opportunities, and strong follow up skills.
  • Education :

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Hours : General work hours are Monday through Friday 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM. Training provided.

    Work Environment : Inside typical office environment- work includes prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Typical plant environment-can be hot and humid inside the plant- must be aware of safety protocols and avoid injury from bumping head from low rails and injury to hands from moving parts of machinery and tools. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
