Position Overview:
As a Project Manager at Service King, you will play a critical role in managing water and fire damage restoration projects from start to finish. This position requires you to coordinate and oversee mitigation and reconstruction efforts while maintaining clear and consistent communication with co-workers, subcontractors, insurance adjusters, and homeowners. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters, ensuring smooth progress and resolution of issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee water and fire damage mitigation and reconstruction projects from initiation to completion.
- Maintain daily communication with all stakeholders, including homeowners, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Prepare and manage bids, estimates, and project scopes using tools like Xactimate (training provided if necessary).
- Write persuasive and professional emails and other correspondence.
- Address and resolve employee and customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Create invoices, handle billing, and collect payments.
- Perform warm sales to build and maintain client relationships.
- Answer calls and respond to inquiries related to ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget, managing resources effectively.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean background check.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for drafting professional and persuasive emails.
- Ability to handle customer and employee issues with professionalism and tact.
- Willingness to learn and take on challenges—no prior experience is required, though experience in the following areas is a plus:
- Construction management
- Restoration or mitigation field
- Xactimate or insurance billing systems
- Water damage restoration or fire damage mitigation
Additional Information:
- This is a hybrid role with time spent both in the office and in the field managing jobs and people.
- Training will be provided to the right candidate with the drive to learn and succeed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in construction management, restoration, or water/fire damage mitigation is highly valued.
- Familiarity with Xactimate or insurance-related billing processes.
- Customer service and sales experience to foster strong relationships and deliver excellent service.
