We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to work closely with the Project Managers and our Project team remotely, with the ability to travel to Boston quarterly.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects. This role involves supporting all stages of project planning, execution, and reporting, while ensuring project goals are met on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Team in the planning and execution of IT projects.
- Coordinate project timelines, resources, and communications between stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, action items, and status reports.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and assist in resolving issues.
- Ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Organize and attend project meetings, taking detailed notes and following up on action items.
- Help track and manage project budgets, resources, and timelines.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure project needs are addressed.
- Contribute to the preparation of project reports and presentations for senior management.
- Assist with risk management, including identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in an IT environment.
- Experience working on large commercial projects.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and collaborative team player.
- Ability to travel to work sites as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development processes.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or working towards it.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Salary : $55,000 - $67,000
