The Brewer School Department is seeking a dynamic and passionate Elementary/Middle Gifted and Talented Teacher to join our team. This educator will be responsible for serving those students whose general academic abilities, specific academic abilities and/or artistic abilities extend beyond the school’s regular curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in differentiated instruction, experience working with gifted learners, and a deep commitment to helping students reach their full potential.

- Valid Maine Gifted and Talented Teacher Certification and CHRC Approval
- Knowledgeable of current trends and best practices in gifted education and differentiation
- Creative, resourceful, and open to trying new teaching strategies and approaches
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment for gifted students
- Proficient in the use of educational technology to enhance learning
