We seek an experienced Corporate Attorney to join our team as a Senior Corporate Attorney. In this role, you will collaborate with the Chief Legal Officer to manage corporate legal and risk management tasks, focusing on franchise law, contract negotiation, and compliance monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Chief Legal Officer to develop and implement corporate legal strategies.
- Manage client national account program contracts, ensuring timely review and negotiation.
- Monitor compliance with franchise registration requirements and state laws.
- Develop and maintain in-house materials and training programs on franchise disclosure laws and requirements.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including agreements and contracts.
Requirements:
- Active law degree and licensure in Tennessee or reciprocal licensure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Minimum five years of experience in franchise law with a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Proven experience in managing franchise disclosure documents, state registrations, and agreements.
- Negotiation skills for national account contracts with large commercial or insurance carrier parties.
