Title: Director of Admissions
Location: Seton Catholic Preparatory
Supervisor: Principal
Coordinates with: Staff, teachers and parents to manage, promote and increase the student enrollment for Seton Catholic Preparatory. Also works closely with the Director
of Advancement to develop consistent public relation messages.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Director of Admissions is primarily responsible for:
- Planning, organizing, and implementing a comprehensive admissions recruitment program at Seton Catholic Preparatory High School.
- Overseeing the training and development of professional and support staff and for promoting the role of admissions within the Seton Catholic community.
- Selection, training and oversight of the Student Ambassador program.
- Promoting and developing the use of new and emerging technologies in the admissions process and for acquiring the skills needed to implement its use.
- Continually improving the current recruitment plans and presenting these to Administration. This includes preparing and analyzing data to use internally for improved recruitment processes.
- Overseeing the development of an appropriate recruiting schedule including visits to area Diocesan schools, middle schools, parishes, schools determined as possible feeder schools, and Diocesan enrollment events.
- All promotional functions for Admissions including advertising, public relations, and marketing. The promotional and marketing materials will be produced in collaboration with the Advancement Director. This includes regionally located information parties for prospective parents and students held at the homes of current parents.
- Serving on parent and school committees as appointed by the Principal.
