Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Business Process Consultant to support FDACS in analyzing and improving business processes. The consultant will be responsible for documenting AS-IS and TO-BE business processes, conducting gap analyses, defining IT solution requirements, creating process flow models, and performing business process re-engineering. Key deliverables include user stories, test cases, cost-benefit analyses, and compliance documentation. The role also involves facilitating meetings, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with OATS policies, and effectively communicating with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop AS-IS and TO-BE business process and customer journey maps.
- Conduct gap analysis, business process re-engineering, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Create and document IT solution requirements, data flow diagrams, ERDs, and business process models.
- Prepare and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
- Work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and business users to identify process improvements.
- Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, take notes, and track action items.
- Ensure compliance with OATS policies and document project processes accordingly.
- Address project conflicts and support project teams in resolving communication issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of IT industry experience.
- 7 years of experience in business analysis for IT projects.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Visio for process modeling.
- Expertise in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Ability to translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience in conducting meetings, JAD sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in business process modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and technical documentation.
- Ability to work with IT teams to ensure solutions align with infrastructure requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and DevOps.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of data dictionaries and business process automation.
