Commerical Solar Foreman - EV Chargers

We are seeking a skilled Foreman specializing in EV Chargers to join our team in the Renewable Energy Industry. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on job sites, coordinating tasks according to priorities and plans, and ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget. The Foreman leads and supervises a crew of workers installing EV chargers, ensuring safety, quality and productivity standards are met.

Responsibilities:

· Supervision and leadership - lead and manage crew, assign tasks and monitor progress of projects and ensure the crew has tools, materials and knowledge needed to perform tasks.

· Plan and Coordinate - collaborate with staff to interpret plans and schedules, plan and organize job site logistics and ensure labor, materials and equipment are available when needed.

· Quality control - inspect work for quality adherence, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, maintain records of work progress, inspections and other issues that arise.

· Safety Management - enforce safety policies and procedures, conduct regular safety meetings and address any safety concerns promptly, implementing corrective actions.

· Communcation - serve as a point of contact between crew and supervisors, communicate effectively with team members and provide regular updates on project status.

· Problem Solving - Troubleshoot issues that arise on-site and make decisions to keep the project on track and implement solutions to unexpected challenges when needed.

Requirements:

· 2 years of leadership experience managing a team.

· 3 years' experience in commercial solar installation.

· 3 years' experience with EV Chargers is required.

· Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and quality standards.

· Experience with power utilities.

· Proven ability to pre-plan projects and deliver them on time within budget.

· Consistently reliable, punctual, and focused on achieving results.

· Readily adapts to changing requirements and complies with company and client standards.

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

· Ability to travel outside of the East Bay area with flexibility to work different site locations and shifts as needed.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
