Position Overview
The Creative Team Manager will oversee the visual storytelling of Shabby Fabrics, ensuring that all creative assets, from photography to graphics, meet our brand standards. This role requires a highly organized and creative individual who can manage a team, assign projects, and maintain a well-structured content calendar. The ideal candidate is fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, etc.), has a strong eye for detail, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Manage: Oversee the daily operations of the creative team, including photographers and graphic designers, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company goals.
- Approve & Direct: Review and approve all photography, graphics, and photo set designs to ensure brand consistency and quality.
- Project Management: Assign creative projects to team members, set deadlines, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Photography Oversight: Manage the photography calendar, coordinating photoshoots and ensuring that all product photography and promotional imagery are completed on schedule.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Social Media Marketing, Video Production, Product, and e-commerce teams to develop visually compelling campaigns and promotional materials.
- Creative Strategy: Provide innovative ideas and solutions for improving the company’s visual branding across multiple platforms.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all creative output aligns with the company’s branding guidelines and maintains a high standard of excellence.
- Software Expertise: Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud tools to assist with editing, designing, and optimizing creative assets when needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in a creative management role, preferably within a retail, e-commerce, or fabric/quilting industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, etc.).
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and mentor creative professionals.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- A keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of photography, branding, and graphic design principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
