The Role:
As a Property Manager, you’ll oversee a portfolio of approximately 200 single-family homes and lead a team of three dedicated professionals. Your role will influence success, ensure top-notch service, and cultivate a collaborative, people-first culture.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of approximately 200 single-family homes.
- Lead and mentor a talented team of three, creating a high-performing and engaged work environment.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with standards and address any issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants and owners, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and upkeep of properties.
- Manage financial aspects, including rent collection, delinquency, and understanding of Owner Statements.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing laws and regulations.
- Maximize occupancy rates and rental income through innovative strategies.
- Communicate with owners and leadership, providing regular updates and reports on property performance.
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid Texas Real Estate License
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of the Texas real estate market and property management laws.
- Proficiency with property management software and Google Suite is a plus.
Preferred:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Experience in property management with a proven track record of success
- Proficiency in Property Meld, AppFolio, and Slack is a plus.
