Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the management of corporate PPAP administrative duties, including assembling standard documents from the systems, file coordination and data maintenance.
DUTIES:
· File management in local drive/software
· Completion of standard documentation as needed
· Obtain and record data from manufacturing reports for inclusion in PPAP submission
· Ensure documents being used, such as APQP documents and Laboratory documents, are the latest revision
· Review tracker daily for any new requests, update with status of PPAP in process
· Compile data for Customer annual validation PPAPs
· Update Jomar (ERP) system with Customer PPAP Approval, or Interim approval dates
· Manage timing of interim approvals to ensure timely completion of outstanding requirements
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
· Minimum of High School Diploma or GED Required
· Minimum of 1-year administrative work
· Demonstrate competency in in use of basic computer applications
· Must be self-motivated and able to work with little to no direct supervision
· Demonstrate accuracy and efficiency in current work
· Must be extremely detailed oriented
· Must have good communication skills, both oral and written to interface with Customers and within all levels of Shawmut
· Basic AIAG/PPAP or related quality system knowledge preferred
