HR Coordinator (Recruiting & HRIS Specialist – Paycom Experience Required)

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Coordinator with extensive recruiting experience and a strong background in HRIS systems, specifically Paycom. This role will be responsible for supporting the full-cycle recruitment process, managing HRIS data, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for talent acquisition and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods (job boards, social media, referrals) to attract top talent.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience and effective employer branding.

HRIS & Paycom Management

  • Maintain and update employee records in Paycom and other HRIS platforms.
  • Process employee changes.
  • Generate reports and analytics on HR metrics (turnover rates, time-to-fill, etc.).
  • Assist employees with HRIS-related questions and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and labor laws.

 

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including document collection and new hire orientations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Assist in benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations as needed.
  • Maintain HR files, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide general HR administrative support and participate in HR projects as assigned.

Qualifications


Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3 years of recruiting experience,in full-cycle talent acquisition.
  • Strong HRIS experience, specifically with Paycom (data entry, reporting, troubleshooting).
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants 
  • Knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and recruitment tools.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
