Sheakley is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead field-level safety operations for a high-profile pharmaceutical manufacturing construction project. This is a long-term opportunity for a committed safety professional with broad construction oversight experience. Serve as the Owner's Representative for safety and play a key role in driving EHS compliance on one of the region's most critical builds.

Project Scope
You'll act as the Safety Owner's Rep for the construction of a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The role includes field oversight of all trades, coordination with general contractors and subcontractors, enforcement of OSHA and project-specific safety protocols, and sitewide EHS leadership throughout all construction phases.
Schedule & Site Expectations
Hours: 45-50/week
Days: Monday-Friday
Travel: Onsite full-time
Duration: 2-year project
Required Qualifications
OSHA 510 or 500 (Required)
5 years of safety experience across multiple construction trades
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, field enforcement, and job hazard analysis
Previous experience supporting large-scale construction (manufacturing or industrial preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily field audits and safety inspections
Facilitate new hire orientations and safety meetings
Monitor high-risk activities (rigging, lifts, excavation, MEP trades, etc.)
Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance across all trades
Lead investigations for incidents and near-misses with corrective action follow-up
Maintain safety documentation, JHAs, permits, and reports for client review
Coordinate closely with site leadership, subcontractors, and the Owner

Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
