The Payroll Analyst will be a member of the Human Resources team that will ensure accurate processing and recording of the company’s payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, and participate in data entry Payroll processing. Work Specifics : Non-Exempt, Full-Time (M-F, 8-4 : 30 PST or 8 : 30-5 PST), Remote position.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :
- Payroll administration for exempt & non-exempt employees nationwide on a semi-monthly basis, including but not limited to :
Set up, modify, and terminate employees in the payroll system
Collect, calculate, summarize, and review timekeeping information for completeness and accuracyHold department supervisors accountable for accurate and timely approval of time cardsObtain supervisory approval of timecard discrepanciesDetailed management of deductions for healthcare insurance, 401k, FSA, etc.Issue paychecks and process direct deposit paymentsProcess garnishment requestsDirect contact with employees to clarify deductions, direct deposit, and other such detailsTrack and communicate Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Sick Leave accruals and balances as applicable and appropriateProcess employee final checks and other off-cycle payments, as neededCompile and provide internal management reports from payroll platformProcess and issue annual W-2 forms to employeesProcess employment verifications as requestedRegister with new states for employment, as requestedResearch and assist with implementation of new or revised labor law requirementsReceive employee complaints, questions, and concerns about payroll services and communicate those issues to HR ManagementProfessional collaboration with other company staffOther responsibilities or duties as may be assignedPay and Perks :

2 years prior experience preferred processing payroll for a multi-state employer, with some knowledge of CA wage & hour law.2 years experience with Paylocity payroll platformBe proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint.Must be punctual and dependable.Accomplished organizational and time management skills to successfully manage multiple priorities at a given time and deliver excellent results with a sense of urgency.Highly effective communicator with an ability to effectively correspond verbally and in writing with multiple constituencies at all levels across the organization.Able to maintain focus and positive attitude in a fast-paced environmentAbility to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environmentExceptional time management skills and solid follow-through skillsSkilled in customer service relations, analysis, and problem solvingPhysical Requirements :
Candidate must be able to sit the majority of an 8-hour day except for lunch and break times. Candidate must be able to keyboard the majority of an 8-hour day except for lunch and break times. Candidate must have manual dexterity. Candidate must be able to speak on the telephone intermittently throughout the day. Candidate must be able to read and write English fluently. Home office must be HIPAA compliant.
