Classified - Position - Instructional Assistant

• Work with the social/emotional, behavioral, and educational aspects of students with special needs
• Implement differentiated academic, behavioral, social, and emotional intervention in a separate educational
  setting within a public school; embed SEL curriculum
• Assist staff in implementing students' IEPs and behavior intervention plans when in the general education setting
• Work with assigned staff to create academic and behavioral supports for students with special needs
• Communicate with building staff including but not limited to special education staff, general education staff and
  administration
• Collaborate with service providers and related service personnel
• Collect data as required by supervising teacher and staff
• Maintain satisfactory attendance
• Responsible and willing to take initiative
• CPR certification and/or ability to be trained and certified
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification and/or ability to be trained and certified
• Attend required professional development as assigned by administration
• Complies with Corporation Bylaws, Policies, and Employee Handbook
• Model Corporation Mission Statement and Fundamental Objectives
