Auto Adjuster
23.27 - $32.59 / hour
Job Level : Individual Contributor
What You Will Be Doing :
Investigate, analyze, evaluate and settle insurance claims involving automobile material damage losses. Determine value of a claim and negotiate settlements within prescribed limits of authority, in accordance with established procedures and consistent with legal and contractual obligations. May be assigned duties with regard to catastrophe teams and branch catastrophes for auto losses. Consumer Reports will be ordered on final candidates.
What We're Looking For :
- Investigative, analytical, organizational and decision-making skills
- Capacity to completely inspect automobiles physically and visually
- Superior skills in negotiation, communication and customer service
- Ability to learn through on-the-job training / training courses and obtain multi state licensing
- Strong skills in technology
- Efficient in time management to maintain schedules and deadlines
- Must possess a valid driver's license supported by a good driving history
- Advanced knowledge of automobile repair desired
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
