Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Event Operations & Inventory Manager to join our team. This individual will oversee daily logistics, manage inventory systems, and act as the on-site crew chief to ensure smooth event execution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the events industry, experience managing large crews, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Manage daily logistics and scheduling of staff for events.
- Review and understand the specific needs of each event, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure operational efficiency.
- Order warehouse supplies as needed, ensuring adequate stock levels for smooth operations.
Inventory Management:
- Organize, maintain, and manage inventory, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Pull and pack inventory for events and check items back into the system post-event.
- Update and manage the inventory database using computer systems.
- Print inventory lists and maintain accurate records for all inventory-related activities.
On-Site Support:
- Serve as the initial on-site crew chief, managing and directing staff during event setups.
- Ensure all event setups are completed according to the pre-approved plans.
- Communicate any issues or needs to senior management and work to resolve problems or conflicts effectively.
- Provide guidance to crew members, fostering a productive and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (fluency required).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including inventory management software and basic office tools.
- Proven experience managing large crews in high-pressure environments.
- Prior experience in the events industry is required; a production background is preferred.
- Must be able to drive a Non-CDL truck.
- Proactive and solution-focused with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to lift and handle inventory items as needed. Minimum 65lbs.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends when required.
Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
