Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified candidate with a strong background in the engineering industry, preferably with deep expertise in the motor sector or prior experience in motor-related roles. Candidates with work experience at globally renowned companies such as Tesla, Apple, or similar top-tier firms will be given priority consideration. The core objective of this role is to drive the long-term growth of Zhaowei in the North American market through effective business communication, client relationship management, and market expansion. The candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Zhaowei’s brand and products consistently gain recognition and procurement from industry-leading enterprises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Maintenance and Business Development: The candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with key accounts and spearheading new business opportunities in North America. This includes deeply engaging with the supply chain ecosystems of industry giants such as Apple, Meta, Amazon, and others to strengthen existing partnerships and proactively identify potential business opportunities.
- Business Negotiations and Relationship Building: Representing the company, the candidate will lead business negotiations and establish strong connections with clients’ procurement, technical, and supply chain management teams to secure cooperation agreements and drive order fulfillment.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams to align resources and meet client demands efficiently, ensuring seamless execution of projects and commitments.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and monitor competitor activities, adapting business strategies as needed to enhance Zhaowei’s competitiveness in the North American market.
- Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Leverage exceptional communication and intercultural collaboration skills to facilitate effective cooperation between clients and Zhaowei’s headquarters team in China, ensuring alignment of goals and execution timelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven engineering industry experience, with a focus on motors or related fields.
- Prior experience at globally recognized companies (e.g., Tesla, Apple) is highly preferred. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong ability to work across cultures and time zones, coordinating effectively with both North American clients and the China-based headquarters team.
- In-depth understanding of Zhaowei’s products, market strategies, and technical strengths to effectively promote business growth.
Work Location and Requirements:
- The position is based in Silicon Valley, California.
- The candidate must be willing to accommodate occasional overtime or meetings to align with the schedules of the China-based team.
Reporting Structure:
The role reports directly to the North America Market Lead, dispatched from Zhaowei’s China headquarters to Silicon Valley.
