The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
- Litigating land use cases, including under CEQA, the Planning and Zoning Law, the Public Records Act, and state housing laws.
- Litigating real estate cases, including unlawful detainer/eviction proceedings, commercial lease disputes, easement disputes, partitions actions, and quiet title actions, with particular emphasis in Northern California jurisdictions.
- All aspects of the litigation process, including mediation and settlement conferences, administrative records, pleadings, demurrers, written discovery, depositions, summary judgment, trials and writ hearings, post-trial motions, and appeals.
- Taking ownership of projects and working effectively as a member of a team.
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- 2-5 years of experience working on a variety of real estate and land use litigation matters.
- Strong academic credentials from top-tier law school.
The pay range for this position is $235,000 to $365,000.
