Job Summary:
The Body Shop Helper at Sheridan Auto Body in Elsmere, Delaware is responsible for assisting in the cleanliness and organization of our auto body shop. This is a full-time, salaried position in the Auto industry where you will work as an individual contributor alongside a team of skilled technicians and laborers. Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain technician bays
-Transporting vehicles to and from
- Organizing parking lot
- Removing Parts and trash from inside and outside of shop
- Keep track of inventory and submit orders for supplies and materials
- Assist technicians with repairs, including disassembly and assembly of vehicle parts
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members and managers to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a body shop or automotive repair industry preferred
- Knowledge of basic automotive repairs and tools
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, and work in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
