Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead by example, hold team members accountable, and provide ongoing coaching and development.
- Coaching and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Provide Feedback: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Team Culture: Foster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere that values respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and procedures and implement effective solutions.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that all deliveries are completed on time, accurately, and with exceptional customer service.
- Routing: Implement proactive routing and scheduling to optimize delivery efficiency and minimize costs.
- Safety: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain the security of company assets.
- Fleet Management: Oversee fleet repairs, truck maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Inventory Management: Manage tool and supply inventory, including dollies, straps, pipe dope, and other essentials.
- Damage Assessment: Inspect delivery/install home damage.
- Cross Train: Provide backup to other members of Operations Management Team
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in delivery, warehouse, or installation operations; Management experience preferred.
- Proven leadership abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Able to organize and establish priorities, multi-task
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and negotiating skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic mail
- A focus on coaching and development
