Job Description:
Sherpa 6, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integrator in support of USSOCOM Program Executive Office TIS supporting USASOC. The Systems Integrator will provide onsite support to SOCOM units in a variety of technical areas including satellite communications, networking & system administration, onsite training, communications planning support, local unit-level maintenance support, and offsite training & exercise support.
The Systems Integrator shall be experienced in all manner of tactical and strategic DoD communications, including Tactical Local Area Network (TACLAN) systems. The Systems Integrator shall be knowledgeable of all PEO-TIS fielded systems and provide highly technical expertise for PEO-TIS systems and related interoperable components as required. This includes in-depth experience with TACLAN hardware, software, and configuration management. The role requires applying systems engineering principles to meet customer needs for PEO-TIS systems and ancillary equipment interacting with USSOCOM component hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Proficient mastery of server administration for Windows Server systems and solutions. Support TACLAN infrastructure and Virtual Storage Area Network (VSAN) capabilities.
- Perform access control, routing, and switching engineering for tactical servers, TACLAN systems, and other hardware.
- Support tactical server and client imaging processes, including TACLAN imaging and deployment, to meet customer expectations.
- Interact with differing levels of tiered support teams to ensure optimal hardware and software performance, including TACLAN environment support.
- Support the design and implementation of automatic configuration tools, including solutions tailored for TACLAN server updates.
- Provide support for automated server and client scripting capabilities, ensuring applications function as intended on all hardware and software, including TACLAN systems.
- Conduct interoperability testing with applicable stakeholders for TACLAN and other dedicated assets.
- Ensure dependencies between programs and systems are understood and integrated into solutions, particularly as they relate to TACLAN interoperability.
Qualifications:
- Proficient mastery of serveradministration for Windows Server systems and solutions. Support Virtual Storage Area Network (VSAN) capabilities.

- Experience supporting tactical server and client imaging processes, including TACLAN imaging and configurations.
- Collaborate with tiered support teams to ensure hardware and software performance in TACLAN environments.
- Support automated server and client scripting capabilities for TACLAN systems.
- Conduct interoperability testing for TACLAN hardware and software.
- Must be a US citizen
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Experience:
- 10 years in USSOCOM units working in Communications field, with specific experience in TACLAN systems and infrastructure.
- CompTIA Security .
- 4 years’ experience in administration of Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Office products.
- 4 years’ experience in administration of storage solutions.
- 4 years’ experience in administration of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, including demonstrable experience analyzing firewall rule sets and router access control.
- Demonstrable experience managing, responding to, and resolving crisis situations caused by network outages or delays.
- Understanding of TACLAN systems, radio IP translation, wide-area voice environments, and communications messaging systems.
- MCSA or MSCE certified, or 5–7 years as a SOF Communicator.
- CCNA or CCNP certified, or 5–7 years as a SOF Communicator.

The proposed salary range is reflective across all Sherpa 6 locations, years of experience and skill levels. Salary negotiations will be based on a host of factors including but not limited to your geographic location, prior experience, relevant skills, education, and certifications.
