We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Accountant to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial aspects of projects, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with budgets, and effective collaboration with project managers and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in accounting for project-based work, and a keen eye for detail.
- Oversee financial aspects of assigned projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and analyze financial variances.
- Prepare and review project invoices, ensuring proper documentation and timely billing.
- Work closely with project managers to forecast financial performance and manage cost reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of project-related transactions, including expenses, revenue, and accruals.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling project accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in project accounting, construction accounting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP systems).
