This role is part of the IT Rotational Development Program. After initial training, individuals will progress through a series of two 9-month rotational assignments, with an optional third rotation. Rotational options exist throughout the Digital Technology IT, InfoSec and TAG-IT organizations, allowing participants to have an individualized experience and broad exposure to the organization. The Program participant may pursue a more business-focused or technical-focused path.
Rotational structure exposes participants to foundational tools, data sources and structures, business emersion, and solution design. Participants receive a program mentor to support them throughout the experience and provide professional guidance. The rotational program will begin in June 2023.
The participant (s) will have the opportunity to gain rotational experience throughout the Digital Technology, Infosec and/or TAG-IT organizations, in a focused concentration including, but not limited to:
1. Solution Development and Delivery, including front-end and back-end development
2. Cybersecurity
3. DevOps and Cloud
4. Infrastructure-as-code
5. Data Delivery and Analysis
6. Configuration and Application Delivery
7. E-Commerce
8. Master Data Management
All rotations will be located at the Corporate Headquarters Associated Offices in Cleveland, Ohio.
Upon successful completion of the program, the incumbent will transition to their permanent position.
Essential Functions
Strategy and Planning
- Contribute to quarterly teamwork plans.
- Investigate, analyze, and recommend improvements to address or prevent business issues.
Design and Deployment
- Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and impact analysis for solution delivery.
- Plan and organize tasks, report progress, and coordinate with other team members.
- Assist with the identification and implementation of solutions that provide enhanced functionality and increased value.
Operational Management
- Create and maintain design documentation.
- Follow organizational change management and communication protocols.
Incidental Functions
- Assist with other projects as necessary to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
- Up to 15% travel as required (domestic and international).
- Work outside the standard office 7.5-hour workday as required.
Position Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age.
Formal Education & Certification
- Must have a high school degree or equivalent (i.e., GED).
- Bachelor’s Degree or in lieu of a degree, at least 12 years in experience in the field of Information Technology or Business (work experience or a combination of education and work experience in the field of Information Technology or Business). Minimum GPA of 3.0., preferred.
- Graduation date on or before May 2023.
Knowledge & Experience
- 0-1 year of IT experience.
- Basic knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps and Cloud computing principles.
- Basic understanding of essential business functions of an organization.
- Versed in Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous Internship experience preferred.
- Previous classroom and/or experience in one or more programming languages such as SQL, C#, Java, Visual Basic, HTML, etc.
