We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team as a Paralegal - Estate Administration. The successful candidate will have experience in estate planning, probate, and Medicaid, and be able to provide exceptional client service.
About the Job:
The Paralegal - Estate Administration will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and drafting of estate planning documents, managing client intake and information gathering for estate plans, coordinating document execution and ensuring compliance with state requirements.
Job Duties:
- Assist clients with gathering required financial documents and eligibility paperwork for Medicaid applications.
- Prepare and submit Medicaid applications for long-term care.
- Work with clients and financial institutions to ensure proper asset structuring for Medicaid eligibility.
- Assist with estate administration, including drafting petitions for probate and administration.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal in estate planning, probate, and Medicaid.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal practice management software and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
