Job Summary
The Product Owner is responsible for leading the implementation and support of the assigned product within the Information Technology department. This incumbent will collaborate ownership of their assigned project across all levels of the organization and will be responsible for communicating with all stakeholders to ensure that business needs are met. The Product Owner will work within the Product Management team to support the product needs.
This position is required to report to the SHI Somerset, NJ office location as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to:
- Define goals and create a vision for development project.
- Communicate with stakeholders across the board, including customers, business managers, and the development team.
- Create a list of backlog items and prioritize them based on the overall strategy and business objectives.
- Oversee the actual development of the product and evaluate product progression at each iteration.
- Arrange and prioritize sprints.
Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in driving product vision, roadmap, design, communication
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required
- 3 years' experience with Agile principles, leading scrums, building user stories, writing specifications, and managing team resources
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Agile principles
- Experience in leading scrums, building user stories, writing specifications, and managing team resources
- Understanding what is required to create a successful application
- Understanding of SHI systems from a technical and business perspective
- Ability to manage and arrange sprints
- Ability to advocate for your ideas and influence people at all levels across a wide variety of job functions
Unique Requirements
- CSPO certification is preferred but not required
Additional Information
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $65,000 - $120,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
