Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager / Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support project managers and teams in planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within scope. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a desire to grow in project management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
- Assist in the creation of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and risk logs.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics.
- Ensure all project documentation is organized and accessible to team members.
Team Support:
- Act as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries.
- Support cross-functional teams by facilitating communication and collaboration.
- Assist in resolving issues and escalating concerns when necessary.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions.
- Ensure adherence to project management standards and methodologies.
Administrative Tasks:
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items.
- Assist in budget tracking and expense reporting.
- Manage project tools and software, ensuring proper setup and utilization.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related role.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Trello, Asana, MS Project, or Jira.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of budgeting and resource allocation.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) is a bonus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience in a specific industry relevant to the organization (e.g., IT, construction, marketing).
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with attention to detail.
