**Job Description:**
Shoreline Media is currently seeking a full-time Bookkeeper to join our
team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to
handle various financial tasks and provide support to our accounting and
administrative functions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain local Quickbooks ledger and assist in preparing the financial transactions
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist the corporate accountant in payroll and HR functions as necessary
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and budgets. I would strike this
– Debbie Clay does this function and its never been done in Ludington
- Utilize financial spreadsheet skills to analyze and present financial
data.
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, within the team and
with external parties.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and an ability to recognize
and resolve issues.
- Use computer systems, Quickbooks and Microsoft Office applications
proficiently.
- Training will be provided if needed, but prior knowledge of the media
business is a plus.
**Qualifications:**
- An associate's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred, but
2 years of minimum office experience will be considered.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications (Excel,
Word, Outlook, and Quickbooks).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential.
- Knowledge and experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and
human resources (HR) functions are a plus.
- Ability to work with general ledgers and financial spreadsheets.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to resolving financial
issues.
- Prior knowledge of the media business is not required but can be
advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
