Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding accounts. This role is crucial in supporting the overall financial health of the organization and requires strong analytical skills as well as proficiency in accounting software.

Duties

• Process and record all incoming payments accurately and promptly.
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
• Manage customer accounts, including billing inquiries and payment arrangements.
• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently..
• Maintain organized records of invoices, payment receipts, and account statements.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and FreshBooks for data entry and reporting.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions regarding their accounts.

Skills

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and analysis techniques.
• Experience with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and FreshBooks.
• Knowledge of public accounting principles is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills to facilitate customer service interactions.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
