Basketball Coach – Adaptive Youth Program

Shovel Town Basketball Club is looking for a coach to lead a weekly basketball session designed for kids with different abilities, including ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, and motor delays. This is more than just basketball—it’s about building confidence, coordination, and a love for the game in a supportive and fun environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead a one-day-a-week adaptive basketball session.
- Run engaging, structured drills tailored to each child's needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive space where every kid feels valued.
- Work with parents and caregivers to ensure the best experience for each participant.
What We’re Looking For:
- Basketball coaching experience, especially with kids.
- Patience, empathy, and an understanding of working with children of varying abilities.
- A background in special education, occupational therapy, or adaptive sports is a plus.
- Creativity in modifying drills and games to keep kids engaged.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
