Are you a business analyst with a passion for the audio industry?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our North America Sales Team! This role involves in-depth data exploration and analysis to uncover useful business insights with a specific focus on our ecommerce business. If you're a Tableau super-user with a passion for how analytics informs business strategy, this role is for you.
This role can be hybrid from our Chicago, IL office or remote in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Sales team as well as cross-functional partners in Demand Planning, Operations, Marketing, and Business Analytics to help develop data-informed business strategies and roadmaps.
- Develop and maintain well-organized and insightful reports, dashboards, and other forms of data visualizations via Tableau to support business awareness and decision-making.
- Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of key business initiatives.
- Proactively investigate the functions of the business and validate through intensive data exploration to uncover new insights and ways to approach problems.
- Perform data exploration on user behavior (e.g. user product reviews, conversion funnel, etc.).
- Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reporting monthly, quarterly, yearly and upon request to stakeholders and management.
- Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
- Sales Enablement: build tools that track key effectiveness metrics to see what makes a product a top (or bottom) performer, then leverage those insights to empower our Sales Team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field is preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Data Analytics.
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel and Tableau.
- Working knowledge and experience with SQL.
- Working knowledge and experience with Python.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills including the ability to review, interpret and present data to stakeholders in a concise manner.
- Able to use professional concepts and apply company policies/procedures to work on problems/issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.
