Overview
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Support production planning in the administration of work orders and the coordination of the daily production schedule for manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Support the Production Planning Manager in generating and reviewing work orders before they are distributed to the production floor.
- Assist in reviewing and processing work orders within the ERP system.
- Contribute to the development and adjustment of the production schedule to optimize machine capacity.
- Ensure timely closure of all work orders.
- Assist in monitoring and tracking inventory levels.
- Support the management of finished goods replenishment based on demand.
- Participate in the establishment of product stock minimum and maximum levels.
- Assist in expediting the production and shipment of customer samples.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to express oral and written communications in a clear and concise manner and effectively provide information and respond to questions from managers, customers and employees.
- Must be able to conduct oneself in a professional manner and cooperates with fellow employees and supervisors.
- Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Must be able to read and use simple math
- Must be able to us a PC and dedicated label making software and printers
- Familiar with Microsoft Windows and Office
- High school diploma or GED required. College a plus
- Minimum 2 year factory or related office experience helpful
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, light to moderate physical effort is required. Must be able to lift 25-40 lbs. Regularly required to stand, reach and move about the facility.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a fast-paced work environment with consistent pressure to complete duties as outlined above which requires ability to manage multiple projects at a detailed level and provide support to many internal departments in a fast-changing environment. Many duties listed above are time-sensitive and have strict deadlines for completion.
