Job Description: As a Salesforce IT Business Analyst at NextEra Energy, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our Salesforce platform to meet business needs. You will engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of Salesforce enhancements. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and Salesforce enhancements.
- Gather and document business requirements, creating detailed user stories and process flows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and project managers, to define and prioritize requirements.
- Configure and customize Salesforce to meet business needs, including creating reports, dashboards, workflows, and custom objects.
- Perform data analysis and data migration activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Salesforce platform.
- Develop and deliver training materials and support end-users to ensure effective utilization of Salesforce features.
- Conduct system testing, create test cases, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to provide proactive recommendations for system improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce and related applications.
- Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams, ensuring alignment of project goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a business analyst with a focus on Salesforce.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Proficiency in creating detailed business requirements documents, user stories, and process flows.
- Experience with Salesforce configuration, including reports, dashboards, workflows, and custom objects.
- Familiarity with data migration, data management, and data integrity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management principles.
- Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred; additional certifications (e.g., Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst) are a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
