Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations and inventory management. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, managing inventory accuracy, and leading a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a background in manufacturing, lean processes, and supply chain management.
Responsibilities
Manufacturing Operations
- Plan, organize, and direct manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain efficient systems and procedures for all production processes.
- Monitor production metrics (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and operational.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
Inventory Management
- Oversee inventory control systems to maintain accurate counts and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage raw material and finished goods inventory.
- Implement and enforce FIFO, inventory cycle counting, and stock rotation policies.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage production supervisors, leads, and shop floor employees.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork.
- Develop and execute training programs to upskill employees and enhance productivity.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and lead incident investigations when necessary.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting related to compliance and operational performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
- 7 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a plant or operations leadership role.
- Proven experience managing production lines, scheduling, and inventory control.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and drive decisions based on metrics and performance.
- Bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish/English) a plus.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
