We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Social Media Manager to work alongside our Account and Creative team and manage all social media strategies, content, and accounts for our amazing clients in the fast-paced beverage industry.
REQUIREMENT SUMMARY:
- Must have 4 years in a similar role, managing social media strategy and accounts for multiple CPG clients.
- Must have a strong understanding of various social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc)
- Must enjoy staying on top of cultural trends, especially in the technology and social media space.
- Ideally, have experience managing influencer programs.
- Must be excited to learn a lot. But also have a lot of fun. We work in drinks, after all.

AS A SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER AT SIDECAR, YOU WILL…
- Be the lead for all social media projects, including all client programs and Sidecar’s social channels. You will work alongside the Account Team and the Creative Team to ensure all strategies, content plans, and executions are on brief and effective.
- Work with the team to develop social strategies for client brands by analyzing existing social media channels, performing competitive reviews to identify trends and opportunities, and developing tailored social media plans, including content pillars and KPIs, that align with clients’ overall brand strategy.
- Oversee all content development, including creating content calendars and providing strategic guidance. Participate in team and client meetings to review and refine content concepts. Work with the Design Team to execute content. Support in any real-time posting as needed.
- Execute community management, including posting per content schedule and responding to all comments and direct messages promptly, professionally, and in the brand’s tone of voice. Proactively engage with relevant accounts and communities within the brand’s industry.
- Manage paid social media, including developing strategic recommendations for paid spend and targeting, boosting in-feed posts, and executing paid social ads.
- Lead social media analytics and reporting by pulling and analyzing performance data of posts, evaluating performance trends, and providing comprehensive reports with takeaways and insights.
- Manage influencer programming, including the development of program strategies, research and outreach, contract development, and being the liaison between influencers, the agency, and our clients.
- Be the social media expert, exercising your knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn and staying on top of trends, legalities, and news within the social media space.
- Get the opportunity to attend events and help capture and post content for both client and Sidecar social channels.

Applicants must be 21 and legally authorized to work in the United States.
YOU MUST HAVE…
- 4 years in a similar role.
- A proven track record of managing social media accounts for CPG brands on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
- The ability to multi-task across different projects while maintaining a team-player mentality.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An eye for design - comfortable working with designers to achieve excellence and have the ability to visualize and implement the premium aesthetic of our clients.
- A glass-half-full personality - resiliently positive attitude is key to the Sidecar ethos
Note: This is a hybrid role based out of our New York city office (Union Square). Employees are expected to follow a Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday in-office schedule.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
