What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Coach Positions position at Sidwell Friends School?
Sidwell Friends School is seeking track and field assistant coaches for both the spring track and field season for the 2025 spring season. The Assistant Coach position will be responsible for assisting the head coach in organizing the Track and Field program. Other responsibilities include promoting and creating a positive team culture, developing fundamental skills of the game, and enthusiastically participating in running practices as support for the head coach.
It is expected that Coaches will maintain a high standard of integrity in all aspects of team management, foster a culture that promotes the Quaker values of the school and academic experience of the student, and intentionally integrate school core values as the framework from which to coach. A thoughtful approach and a desire to constantly improve and innovative thinking will be essential to success in this role.
Qualified candidates will possess at least one (1) year of relevant track and field coaching experience at the high school, club and/or college level. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; but not required. Coaching positions at Sidwell Friends School are campus-based; therefore, this position requires coaching in person.

- Stipend $2,675.00-$3,852.00. Stipend will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
