Tatum Psychology Employment Group is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our team. Qualified candidates will possess strong customer service & organizational skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a compassionate heart for the patient population we serve.
YOUR ROLE
- This position primarily supports the billing process for Tatum Psychology Employment Group.
- Coordinate with patients and families regarding all aspects of billing inquiries.
- Patient Billing Inquiry/Turn-Off-Statements: respond to all billing questions. Research as needed and ensure the client’s questions have been fully answered.
- Facilitate coordination of benefits
- Audit Reception Logs Monthly: audit records to ensure the company has collected the funds per VOB.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all prospects, patients, and employees.
- Create and generate reports/forms as required.
- Communicate & coordinate duties with other facilities and departments regularly.
- Perform general clerical & administrative duties - correspondence, filing, copying, and distribution.
- Provides support to reception as needed for low coverage (breaks, vacations, etc).
- Execution of additional tasks and projects as directed by Supervisor.

Requirements
COMPETENCIES
- High school diploma / GED or higher.
- Insurance Experience
- 2 years of customer service experience required; healthcare experience a plus, but not required.
- 1 years’ experience in a professional office setting.
- Strong computer skills to include Word and Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change with a positive attitude.
- Ability to interact with patients and employees at all levels of the company with discretion and while maintaining confidentiality.
- High degree of organization & keen attention to detail.
- Reliable, trustworthy, dependable, and hard-working.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Obtain a health clearance form from a medical provider.
- Obtain a negative tuberculosis screening.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift/carry 20 pounds.
- Ability to engage in frequent computer work.
Salary : $18 - $20
