About This Position
The Festival Graphic Design Associate is responsible for assisting the Graphic Design Manager with the design and execution of a range of print and digital executions for the 2025 Seattle International Film Festival, including advertising, venue signage, printed collateral materials, and web and digital graphics.

Dates of Employment: March 10th - May 16th, 2025
Reports to: SIFF Graphic Design Manager
Hourly Rate: $23/hour
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Graphic Design Manager to execute all Festival design products
- Execute Festival print and digital advertising
- Assist in the creation of venue signage, merchandise, and another on-site assets
- Oversee the creation of venue and sponsor toolkits for social, web, and email marketing
- Coordinate the creation of pre-show cinema slides and trailer snipes
- Provide project status updates to the Graphic Design Manager and marketing team
- Aid in the design file upkeep, and organization
- Assist in other design projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s with major in a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) required
- Experience designing for web, social, and print
- Ability to take initiative, show good judgment, and manage projects.
- Exceptional ability to manage details and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent eye and composition skills
- Ability to give and receive critique/feedback
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed
Work Environment: Hybrid allowed. This temporary position will work onsite at our Seattle office (SIFF Film Center) and may be required to be onsite for Festival screenings and events at our venues. Remote work is allowed, with schedule agreed upon with supervisor.
