SightMD PA is seeking a highly skilled Eyecare Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ophthalmic practice and patient care, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist ophthalmologists in patient care and perform technical workups
- Maintain and clean all equipment used in the office
- Return phone calls to patients and pharmacies
- Assist with minor surgery and maintain patient confidentiality
- Utilize proper eye drop technique and sterility
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience or training in a similar position
- Knowledge of eye anatomy, disease, symptoms, and ocular medications
- Ability to work as a team member and display flexibility in job assignment
- Computer literacy
