POSITION SUMMARY
We have a variety of positions open at our Oklahoma location! Please find a list of a few production based positions below and their general tasks. Many will offer rotation potential as well!
Packer
- Inserts packages correctly into boxes
- Ensure that the packages meet quality requirements
Palletizer
- Lift boxes and stack on a pallet
- Stack product to plant standards
- Lifting/Pulling/Pushing over 40 lbs.
Receiver
- Obtain Bill of Lading from the driver & inform Quality Assurance of load
- Ensure trucks wheels are chocked before unloading
- Weigh combos and make I.D. cards for each combo
- Make Receiving Report for cooked ham
- Variety of other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 29-49lbs on an occasional basis.
- Must be able to continuously pack and label boxes of packaged franks.
- Standing is required for continuous periods of time without being able to leave the work area.
- Able to grasp, hold and turn with hands and wrists continuously throughout shift.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Inspect, examine and observe product defects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITITES (KSA’s)
- Work independently and as a member of a team.
- Work at a rapid pace for long periods of time.
- Must be able to convey and exchange information.
- Must be able to take directions.
- Must be able to work as needed as defined by the needs of the company.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to work in a cold environment (32-34F).
- Will be exposed to constant loud noise.
- Some Saturdays and Sundays will be required.
