Job Description:
SLUSA is seeking skilled captioners working in CART and/or Typewell to provide captioning and transcription services. We have a variety of captioning needs, including public events, meetings, classes, and medical appointments. While remote captioning is the preferred method, we also require in-person captioners in certain regions.
Responsibilities:
Provide real-time captioning and transcription services for a variety of events and settings.
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of transcripts.
Work remotely or in-person, depending on location and requirements.
Qualifications:
Must hold one of the following certifications through the NCRA: CRR, CRC, CRI, or CLVS.
SLUSA may also consider candidates with RSR and RPR certifications.
Experience with providing rough copy and verbatim transcripts as needed.
Captioners are not required to hold their own Streamtext accounts as SLUSA provides this.
