Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing assistance, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients
- Help with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
Experience:
- Previous experience as a personal care assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic personal care techniques and practices
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures when working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
